Playing drums anytime he could, Jake spent his High School days practicing and gigging at local coffee shops. Dedication took hold, and a scholarship to play drums at Edmonds CC was offered.

A few years of immersing himself in eclectic musical genres, Jake returned to Boise to focus on recording, live shows, and touring. After one fan begged Jake for drum lessons, it became a career. Balancing a busy gig calendar and teaching roster is tough, but necessary to give students a current curriculum.
